Corby Skinner
In addition to his work as an artist, Corby Skinner is an independent marketing professional with an enormous capacity for assessing issues and creating positive, effective messages. His work is evident in all aspects of performing, visual and literary arts.
Corby returned to the position of ABT Program Director in 2022, after serving in the position for 18 years from 1987- 2005
Skinner has been the director of the Writer’s Voice, a literary program since 1991. Skinner has coordinated seven Big Read programs for the National Endowment for the Arts and 18 High Plains Book Festivals.
Skinner is co-host of the Yellowstone Public Radio program, “Resounds: Art and Culture on the High Plains.”
Currently, he serves on the boards of Arthouse Cinema, Alberta Bair Theater, Montana Chamber Music Society, Susan Scott Heyneman Foundation, and is past chair of the Humanities Montana. He served as Arts and Humanities Field Coordinator for the National YMCA of the USA.
Corby Skinner has received the Montana Governor’s Humanities Award and the Philip M. Fortin Humanitarian Award.
